When Attorney General Sessions recommended Andrew Lelling to President Trump for the position of the U.S. Attorney in Massachusetts, somehow I doubt that the president expected one of Lelling's early acts would be to basically call medical kidnapping victim Justina Pelletier a liar by swearing on the record that the "notion" that she was being tortured is "wholly unsupported.”
How's this for “wholly unsupported”?
In fact, the unfortunate reality that Justina was tortured is one of the best documented texts of the 2013-2014 period. I've written over 30 pages on it citing over 80 sources, including the damning Edward R. Murrow Award winning coverage by Beau Berman, who interviewed Justina right after she finally went home.
Justina's torment at the hands of these so-called “healers” is in fact such a well-supported notion that even a former federal prosecutor from Lelling's very own office, who also happened to be the longest-tenured board member of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children had openly written about it, as had a former Boston Children's Hospital nurse who had access to her medical records.
You know, it sure must be nice to be Obama DOJ holdovers and not have facts applu to you. If anyone else tried such a readily apparent crime against humanity today, certain “news” outlets would be all over it for days. And if a defendant were to file such blatant lies, they'd be looking at perjury charges.
Please join Dana and I in demanding that Mr. Lelling personally apologize to Justina and her family for denying the atrocities committed against them and in asking – loudly – that President Trump fire Mr. Lelling and bring in an outsider to replace him, like he did in Philadelphia. The people who crippled Justina should be prosecuted by the Trump Administration, not protected by it. Thank you.
